The North Shore School of Dance (NSSD) is a professional dance school, located in Highland Park, IL, offering courses in a diverse range of dance styles. NSSD gives students access to a faculty of highly qualified professional dancers, as well as guest artists from well-respected dance companies. Providing performance opportunities through the annual Nutcracker Production and offering three different dance companies.

NSSD’s pre-dance division exposes preschoolers aged 3–6 to creative movement, pre-ballet, and basic positions and techniques. Our student division offers an extensive program ranging from beginner classes up to, and including, professional-level instruction.

NSSD also has a limited number of slots available for dance birthday parties! Create special memories for your little star. We can even customize our instruction to fit your party’s theme.
